One of the most famous beaches on Fuerteventura

In the north-west of the island of Fuerteventura lie the beaches of the fishing village of El Cotillo. La Concha beach always has gentle waves thanks to its natural horseshoe-shaped reef. On windy days, the corralitos – small circular walls made of volcanic stone built by the locals – can provide shelter. And at low tide, the little ones can play safely in the pools that form among the surrounding rocks. There is a car park very close to the beach and lifeguard services, as well as apartments and a restaurant with a terrace just a short walk away.
