A charming fishing village

Las Playitas retains the charm of Fuerteventura’s fishing villages. In the south-east of the island and close to the bustling commercial hub of Gran Tarajal, Las Playitas offers the chance to enjoy a small fishing village. Its white houses with blue stripes line a charming seafront promenade lapped by the waves. And in its restaurants, you can sample delicious fresh fish brought in daily by the local fishermen.

Volcanic beach, water sports and landscapes

The village is divided into two distinct parts. On one side is the fishing village proper, and on the other lies a long volcanic sand beach where you can enjoy water sports such as windsurfing. Six kilometres from Las Playitas, the La Entallada lighthouse offers beautiful views of the sea and the Cuchillos de Vigán mountain range, declared a Natural Monument.
