Ajuy Beach
A beach next to the volcanic caves of Ajuy
Ajuy Beach, on Fuerteventura, is situated on the island’s west coast, very close to Pájara. The peaceful atmosphere of the fishing village of Ajuy, where this beach is situated, makes it very popular amongst the inhabitants of Fuerteventura. Its fine volcanic sand and moderate waves make Ajuy Beach the ideal setting for a relaxing holiday. Furthermore, it forms part of a Protected Natural Area home to some spectacular volcanic caves.
Savour Fuerteventura’s cuisine by the beach
Next to Ajuy Beach there are several quality restaurants where you can discover a new fresh fish dish or a typical Canary Islands dessert: they are the best option for exploring the island’s cuisine before returning to the beach to continue enjoying the sea. And, at the end of the day, Ajuy beach will delight visitors with its beautiful sunsets, when the sky turns a thousand colours over the sea of Fuerteventura.
