Calm waters sheltered by a bay in Caleta de Fuste

In Caleta de Fuste, on the east coast of the island of Fuerteventura, there is a beach where you can relax under the Canary Islands sun. El Castillo beach is a quiet spot that was traditionally used as a holiday destination by residents of Puerto del Rosario. A tourist beach near Fuerteventura Airport

El Castillo beach is just 10 minutes from Fuerteventura Airport and takes its name from a nearby 18th-century fortress, listed as a Site of Cultural Interest. Although primarily a tourist beach, it is also popular with families thanks to its range of facilities: sun lounger and parasol hire, car park, bus stops and taxis, and a promenade lined with restaurants and apartments, which connects to a shopping centre. And thanks to its proximity to the marina, you can go windsurfing, swim with sea lions or explore the seabed whilst diving.
