Tebeto Beach

Tebeto Beach

This unspoilt spot offers stunning scenery, peace and quiet, and the chance to unwind in a natural setting – ideal for nature lovers.

A hidden, unspoilt gem

Tebeto Beach, situated on the secluded north-western coast of the island, in the municipality of La Oliva, near the charming village of Tindaya, is a picturesque cove of sand and rock, approximately 100 metres long, shaped by the mouth of the Tebeto ravine. The surrounding landscape is simply breathtaking, with high cliffs, dunes and lush native vegetation hugging the shore.

How to get there

Reaching Tebeto Beach is an adventure in itself. From Tindaya, take a winding dirt track towards Jarugo Beach. About two kilometres before reaching Jarugo, leave your vehicle in a clearing and set off along a descending path that leads to the beach. It is advisable to use an off-road vehicle, given the uneven terrain and the presence of loose stones.

A natural haven of peace and tranquillity

This natural haven is rarely crowded. It is a nudist beach where you can enjoy the sun and sea without restrictions. However, it is important to exercise caution when swimming, as the waves can be strong and there are dangerous currents. Furthermore, it is essential to bring everything you need with you, from food and drink to sun protection, as the area lacks facilities and infrastructure.

The essence of Fuerteventura

In short, Tebeto Beach stands out as a place well worth exploring, both for its stunning natural beauty and its rich history. It invites you to switch off from the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in the authentic essence of Fuerteventura.
